This time my left heel is really sore...

Whistler Half Marathon
knee was fine - left and right calf both really tight/sore from about 5k in probably from racing last weekend and then doing nothing all week.
Went well and pleased to get my goal of 95 (or better!)
Great place to run with amazing mountain views on a gorgeous day.
KM markers were a bit random I think:
1. 4.12
2. 3.56
3. 5.10 (big hill)
4. 4.37
5. 4.01
6. 4.18
7. 4.33
8/9/10 13.00
= 43.48 for first 10k
11. 3.43
12. 3.37
13. 4.15
14/15 11.06
16. 3.13 (?)
17. 3.41
18. 5.11
19. 4.10
20. 5.35
= 44.32 for second 10k
21 plus finish 6.08
= 94.30 hope the overall length was correct at least...
Race time 94.32, chip time 94.28 (and 45.51 at half way oops) my watch in between - weird

jog around Whistler to test out knee - hurt every step but just the skin so think it is OK? Might not be much fun on Saturday (but then it probably wasn't going to be anyway!) checked out the Olympic plaza where the race is due to start and finish and it is under renovation so that might not be great!

full day of meetings so missed a lovely sunny day in Whistler, couldn't run in any case, might try a light jog tomorrow? not sure it will happen though...

sore knee - mainly the skin that's sore so hopefully no long term effect, need to keep bending it
