heel a bit better but knew I wouldn't be able to race at Edale still and I needed to unpack from Vancouver (plus it was raining) so called a rest day and haven't actually left the house all day.

walking round Hugsett whilst Oli and Rob got lost, found a couple of 'controls' I think!
Foot sorer after dancing at the Arctic Monkeys gig last night, was worth it though (and worth getting covered in urine - maybe)

walk up to Stanage Pole and then trig and back to Redmires to try to get over my jetlag unfortunately it was a bit gloomy so not sure my body will have realised it was daylight!
did a couple of short jogs and my foot hurt, picked up loads of litter too

to work and back, foot fine on the bike (felt it on the steep uphills slightly)

also showed Oli the runners yoga from Vancouver when we got home but couldn't really do it due to knee and foot!

long day of travel ahead which should rest it at least and I just bought a Canucks shirt which is exciting!

heel slightly better, did some biking from downtown to Stanley Park along the front as it was easier than walking!
