Road Running 35:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)
shoes: adidas supernova adapt

Around the block--in a hurry to get back and pick up Bailey at school. A little hot and muggy, but not enough to feel this bad. Maybe allergies are causing some asthma or something...

Road Running 37:30 [4] 4.3 mi (8:43 / mi)
shoes: adidas supernova adapt

Lewis mills again--short on time. Tried the same pace run segments as a few days ago. Lots of aches and pains--wonder if its soreness from trying to run fast at all only recently. Time went down, though.

Road Running 38:30 [4] 4.3 mi (8:57 / mi)
shoes: adidas supernova adapt

Lewis mills block with several 1-200m pace runs. Hips and lungs both in a sorry state.

Orienteering race 59:18 [5] *** 5.8 km (10:13 / km) +130m 9:12 / km
shoes: Montrail Highlander

Red at the new Springton Manor map. Nice day, except for the wind--had trouble holding and folding the map as it flapped all over. Other than some mentally sloppy legs, the big problem was not being able to find my thumb compass. Now I know how much I rely on it. Used Sam's baseplate with the big bubbles (which also probably added to the problem). Why don't they put cm scales on the side of the baseplate?
Conditioning is terrible--hills particularly. Right side of chest started hurting and kept hurting well after I finished.

Bollinger block, felt OK, working on form, but mostly just to get outside on a nice day.

Road Running 1:18:00 [3] 8.4 mi (9:17 / mi)
shoes: adidas supernova adapt

Lippitt loop with 1min walks at 15min intervals. Felt pretty good till near the end, then calf and hip pains. Perfect weather 60deg, cloudy and calm.
