Bollinger--felt OK at first, but then pretty tired. Did some leg work this AM (squats, etc.) that may have taken something out of them. Lung capacity doesn't seem like it should be either.
Hanging streamers for next week at Gov Dick. Have to really careful in some spots to get the right boulder. No idea what the distance was, but I was doing lots of walking and some running when it was nice trail. Left knee kind of gave out a few times.
Lewis and bollinger. Thought I would take advtantage of the warmest day this year (~75), but felt terrible. Could have been the "heat" or something else. Had to walk a few times, couldn't catch my breath.

First time out this year. Navigation wasn't too bad, considering I've never been good at these subtle NJ maps. No speed in the running, though, and hips were really sore afterwards.
Tested out some alternatives with Sam on way back from Ithaca. Tough going--too tough for a course I think. Boulders, windfall and saplings are a bad combo. Good workout climbing the big hill.
Checking out control sites at Gov Dick. Lots of boulder hopping and bushwacking. Forgot any decent shoes so did it in my "retired" Sauconys which were pretty slippery. Pretty well beat at the end.
