Felt great today onthe MTB. Had the speed and strength for most of the ride. Improved my climbing ability but still got whooped!! Need to spend a morning just practising skills rather than fitness.

Friday Jan 12

Did ten min warm up then 3 min/2min x 4 then cool down. Knee wasnt to bad but felt very ligth headed at the end. Possibly the fact i hadnt eaten since the night before and slightly dehydrated.

Rode the usual circuit but knee felt sore today. Backed off on the power and just did a cruisy ride to nurse knee through.

Wednesday Jan 10

Completed my set that my coach wanted me to do and felt ready to tackle the banks once my hour long massage was completed.

Did the floreat ride again this morning. A large group this morning meant alot of surges towards the back of the group. Group rode slower today which meant i could hang on until mosman park climbs. With no hill climbing introduced yet due to the knee i struggled to keep pace with the group. Got back on and completed the ride with the group!!

First real rest day from my training ramping up at christmas. Completed my stretches and exercises as set out by my Sensational Coach!!! Knee is holding up extremely well.
