Woke up this morning and checked bom radar. A couple of light blue patches crossing over perth but nothing after that. Figured it would be similar to tues morning. Rocked up to Claremont to be joined by only 3 others. we took off and by the time we had got to port beach simon and i had made it a group of 2. We kept the pace going by doing roatations until we were on melville pde and his rear mud guard fell to bits. I stopped and waited whilst he flapped about. Meanwhile Ian had caught up and we became group of 3. As per the rest of the ride simon and i worked the front and then ian turned off at canning hwy. After doing mt henry bridge we managed to pick up chris who had decided to ride towards us as we headed up to canning bridge. Group of 3 until south perth when Chris dropped off due to puncture. Simon peeled off after the narrows leaving myself for the shitty ride back into the headwind to claremont. Again no rain this morning during the very small group ride. Seems to be a hell of a lot of pansies in perth!!

HR spiked 4 times over 200 in the first 7km. Suspect railway line and my mounting of the band just before we took off could have lead to the erractic readings

Ive been told that whats on the outside doesnt count, its whats on the inside that is important so i spent the morning focusing on my deep inner abs making them big and proud!!

Rocked up to the group ride to see only 6 people there. 5 hard bodies and 1 honorary hard body. George and i lead group out to westcoast hwy before i continued effort on front through to railway. By this stage honorary HB had turned off, Ray i think iwas hanging on and george took stuint at front. I took another stint from cop shop to the old blind institute and then one more go around the col de leighton.

By the time we got to stirling hwy we were down to 4. Lead the 4 up to mc Cabe st b4 pmtb rider upped the pace through to col de golf course. George and i left him to it and we regrouped by st hilda's. pmtb rider took off up devils elbow and that was the last we saw of him, george peeled off at stirling hwy which left Ian and i to continue around through to UWA.

Good ride this morning with no rain but some wet road patches around the place. Oh yeah and no wind!!
