And back

Tuesday Jan 19, 2016 #

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2] 2.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Home, faff trying to get james moving, to meadows

Running 16:00 [4] 2.2 mi (7:16 / mi)

Missed the first one, so 3*1200 1 min recovery, about 4:35s

Running 37:00 [3] 5.0 mi (7:24 / mi)

Not so slow continuation with Paul, big lap and a bit of the meadows, home via Astley Ainsley and Blackford.

Running 50:00 [2] 6.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

Extended faffage, running in, out to the ERI and back. Shoulder healing rather slower than expected, probably due to me not resting properly. My punishment is another appointment in six week...

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

And home

Sunday Jan 17, 2016 #

Running 1:20:00 [3] 10.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Pollock, Queens Drive, round the back of the New Town and home through Bruntsfield. Snow on the Seat, blue skies and great views over the Forth and South roads clear, cold and icy in places. Generally nice, but quads still sore and taking a pummelling, probably due to tensing up while running.

Note

How did I not know about this?

Running race 20:30 [4] 3.1 mi (6:37 / mi)

Porty Parkrun. Bit icy, started OK, then faded quite badly in a cant be arsed sort of a way. Still super-cautious going round corners

Running warm up/down 22:00 [2] 2.5 mi (8:48 / mi)

On me ownio: Jogging to start, some sprints, generally warmed up properly. And down

Orienteering 3:00:00 [2] 10.0 mi (18:00 / mi)

Livingston. Ran some course options, did some mapping. Got snowed on and generally kept warm.

Note

Graham Mc at the parkrun. Still no formal feedback about WOC, but he reckons IOF though it was a disaster, especially the long. He says Jorn won't let anyone future organisers get away with it.
I observed that there are two ways this could happen.
