CLS half marathon. 3 Laps from CLS to LA Santa villages and back

Got up at 7:15. Looked at racing shoes. Looked at comfy NB padded boats. On with the boats. Which set the store for a long fast run rather than a race. Got dropped early and ran alone from about 2km. Nice temperature but brutally windy. Cruising happily until about 1km to gp when the guy up ahead appeared to be folding in to the wind, so absolutely legged it across about 200m gap, to rudely pass him in the stadium. Was expecting to run 100mins, so pretty happy with that.

Enjoyed the beginners pilates class (aka gentle stretching) yesterday, so tried the intermediate today as a recovery session. This proved more ambitious, lots of legs and tummy strength stuff. Now I see what its meant to be about.

8 am stretching session and gentle 5km "off road" run.

Short loop via Soo with Jane. First time back on the bike. Windy.

Introduction to pilates. Good in that I was able to supportmy weight on the left arm. Otherwise, erm.

2x800 c 400m recovery + lap wup wdown and some jogging. On account of feeling stretched and loose after pilates.

La Santa, Quick jog round the site +3 laps on arrival. Felt too hot and generally rubbish.
Watch Spurs win at ManC in the sports bar.
