Running 9:00 [2] 1.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Home. Got half way before it hurt

Cycling 45:00 [3] 9.0 mi (5:00 / mi)

Two laps of the seat. Impossible to stay inside the speed limit freewheeling downhill, need to be on the brakes to avoid coasting past cars.

Cycling 30:00 [3] 7.0 mi (4:17 / mi)

Lap of Queens Drive on the new black bike. Very nice indeed - went up it with speed and ease :)

Cycling 3:00:00 [3] 48.0 mi (3:45 / mi)

ERC 9:45 group, hilly, but not very, around east Lothian, eventually to Haddington & back. Last hurrah for the white bike? It won't be missed on the steeper bits.

Running 19:00 [2] 2.0 mi (9:30 / mi)

In and out, sorely. Back now to where I was before the 6-day.

Cycling 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 mi (5:00 / mi)

After various faffage, got out for a ride to the Bush et al and back on a nice cool evening. Unfortunately it got a bit gloomy, and more unfortunately I got stopped by a copper.

I was getting a bit of a lecture, then he said "you're a bit dark". And his face dropped when he realised that's really not what you want to say to a dark-skinned person on a white bike wearing a white T-shirt and a white helmet. Er well, he said, we've all been there. And all was well.
