Cycling 3:20:00 [3] 50.0 mi (4:00 / mi)

9:45 group. Much early faffage in a big group to Dalkieth. Then without anyone taking charge, I managed to show the right balance of enthusiasm and miserableness to get exactly half the people to join in a well-functioning group of 9 up to 11 when some randoms caught us. Cousland, some pushing at the front, a couple of minutes stop just after 11 to let everyone catch up, generally Humbie, Haddington, Yak & Bangley back. Fun. Cold, sunny day (5 deg), actually got too hot in four layers.

In and a slightly long way home

Running 25:00 [3] 3.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

In, then home again somewhat quicker. Neither worse nor better going faster.

Running 18:00 [2] 2.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Home via Cameron Toll. Still not good.

Running 18:00 [1] 2.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Cycling 22:00 [3] 8.0 mi (2:45 / mi)

Indoor bike 2x10mins and some warm up. Very boring, had to count the seconds. With the elephants in to make sure they're real seconds. That boring.

Cycling 4:30:00 [3] 50.0 mi (5:24 / mi)

With Jane. Started with interminable faffage around housing schemes in East Edinburgh with rough and ruffing obstructions making everything slow. After about 80 mins we finally got to Dalkeith CP. Then out though pathhead, saltouns Haddington, over the Yak to Drem where j got the train home while I raced the sun to get back set. Pretty much a tie.
