CST qualifier at Dunrod Hill. 18/29 Sasha 61:28
Running as backup on brown, in the snow under clear blue skies. Beautiful.
Lost ~30sec at #1 which was close to impossible. Everyone was streaming off down the road, but optimal was to head off at right angles, which had to be done immediately. By the time 20 sec of finding the start & the first control was done, it was too late.
2 was a km run along a lovely (if navigationally pointless) flat path by the leat. Then clean around a lot of moorland which was runnable for people a bit stronger than me hey-ho.

Cyril and Max finished safely as our counters, well ahead, and we'd have qualified anyway, so it was just for personal enjoyment.
