Out on the roads of Caledon with Phatty and STORM. I was a little tired from yesterdays run and started to get dropped on the hills from the get-go - yikes. Huge kudos to STORM for riding the knobbies the whole way. Phatty and I are still waiting for our MTN bikes to get fixed and after a convo with the mechanic yesterday it looks like it is going to cost me a pretty penny.

Cold, windy, and hilly on the ride so it was a good workout but it was all I could do to hold on!

Decided to run with my MP3 player and it seems whenever I do this on the trails I have deer run right out in front of me and scaring the sh*t out of me because I don't hear them. Ran faster because of the tunes - nothing like a little "JT" to make you run faster.

Ran with my MP3 player on and it seems whenever I do this I have deer run across the trail in front of me and they scare the sh*t out of me because I don't hear them coming. Serves me right for listening to music instead of the sounds of nature. Pace was quicker because I was listening to some JT.....

Took advantage of the sunny day but had to bundle up since it was cool and windy. Followed a red fox up Glasgow road. Lots of stretching afterward - boy does that feel good.

Hit the HVT with Bash and was overdressed for the occasion. Luckily Bash brought along a pack so she could carry my extra gear for me!!! Warm and sunny and really muddy, just the way we like it!

Road Riding 1:20:00 [2]
Met up with STORM, team Beowulf, and Mike for a brick workout near Georgetown. Started with a 1hr20min road ride and Phatty and I were the cheaters with road bikes while everyone else had MTN bikes. Ours are in the shop - seriously.

Followed the ride up with a good trail run. My glutes and hams were getting pretty tight by the end and man was I hungry! Great to get out with a group again!
