Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Coach LD and I rode up to Albion to meet up with Bent and Rocky for a Wednesday morning ride. Bash was out due to the fact that her bike frame is cracked and Bent was still riding on his old recumbent. The roots were slippery and I was all over the place until Rocky asked me what psi my tires were pumped to. Oh yeah, Phatty had pumped my tires to about 80 psi for the weekend and I had no traction. Things went much better after I let some of the air out. We even took some photos despite how bad the bugs were when we stopped. Great ride. We called this the "estrogen ride" even though Bent was there.....I think he was flattered. Too bad we missed his reverse endo on one of the hills......I think he is VERY anxious to get his bike back from his mechanic!!

Fun start to the day.

Trail Running 1:01:00 [3]

Bash and I were finally able to reunite for a tuesday run on the HVT. Was muggy but at least the sun wasn't beating down on us. My legs finally felt much better...I am thanking the yoga session last night and I think I have found my wonder recovery medicine!

Road Riding 1:00:00 [3]

To and from yoga....I toyed with the idea of waiting for Phatty to get home from work and driving but I am glad I didn't. He didn't get home until later and it was a nice night for a ride plus it's a great way to warm up for yoga.

Yoga 1:30:00 [2]

I LOVE this class. Every week is really different and this week we focussed on a lot of hip opening postures - ugghgh. I don't know how many variations of "pigeon" we did but I really struggle with that one and looking at some of the people in the class I don't think I'll ever get there.....but I showed them when it came time to do handstands - oh wait it's not a competition is it....

Felt great at the end of the class and I remembered my glasses this time so no bugs in my eyes - just in my mouth.

Road Riding 2:00:00 [3]

Out with Phatty and Goose around B-town. Boy were my legs tired. It was meant to be an easy spin but Goose had some energy to burn (not sure why since he just ran up to Albion and back) so as the ride went on him and Phatty kept getting further and further away on the hills. It felt good to get home and stretch!
