Trail Running 2:20:00 [3]

Out with Bash, Bent, Crash, Rocky, Phatty, and Paul for a LSD run on the Bruce Trail from Bash and Bent's place. Great temps for a run and great company.

Road Running 50:00 [3]

To and from the gym - great day out....crappy that I have to run on Highway #50 for a bit though.

Strength training 1:10:00 [3]

New gym today. This one will let me do month-to-month so I am going to stick with this one. Clean and new and I was the only one there, perfect.

Road Running 26:00 [3]

Up to the Wellness Centre and back. Nasty snowy headwind on the way up there.....better on the way there than on the way back I suppose.

Strength training 1:10:00 [3]

New set of exercises today - some of them made me feel like my arms were going to fall off. I am sure I was making some great faces during the exercises! Probably won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow.

Trail Running 1:00:00 [3]

With Rocky and Phatty along the HVT. My legs were still sore.....a lot of work to do I think.

Road Running 30:00 [2]

Warm-up, cool down for intervals with Bash.

Trail Running 16:00 [4]

Intervals on the soccer pitch with Bash. Luckily we had the headwind on the way out.....legs felt a little heavy but not too bad. Glad we have each other to stay motivated to do this kind of workout.

Road Running 40:00 [3]

Running to and from the wellness centre where I started my strength program finally.

Strength training 1:15:00 [3]

Starting to get in shape for the Land Rover G4 challenge in February! I have to admit it was nice to get back to some strength training. I used to go all of the time in University and Chiro College but haven't done anything since then. Some really neat exercises and I can tell this is going to make a big difference for me.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

The parts of the course that I could run (anything but the "walk the line")

Orienteering 40:00 [2]

The "walk the line" portion of the Peak2peak training event at Mt. Nemo. Had to go very slowly to make sure I didn't miss any of the controls....only contours to go by on this map. Still managed to beat Phatty though - hehe.
