Swimming 15:00 [3]

Had to do it as part of my bronze cross recertification for volunteering at camp. Thank goodness it was pretty relaxed since the last time I took this course I was 16. Seems like they have simplified things a bit.

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Out for an awesome ride in the afternoon. What a day! I hit some of the hilly sideroads of Caledon, stopped for a chat with Bash at the end of her driveway, and then went into Albion for an hour of singletrack. The bike needs some serious work though.

Trail Running 1:35:00 [3]

Awesome day for a trail run....as soon as I got on the HVT at Edelweiss I came face to face with a "Doe a Deer a female deer......Ray a drop of golden sun". We stood and stared at one another for a good 30 seconds and she was only about 15 feet away. Then she bounded into the forest...cool moment.

Trail is nice and dry and the temp was perfect.

Mountain Biking 1:30:00 [3]

Out to Albion Hills with Coach LD and Rocky to meet up with the BoltonMTBClub. We ended up splitting part of the way through by mistake but still had a great ride. Started off with Coach LD and I heading toward a large mudbog (we didn't hear the warnings of the rest of the group) and both of us lost our front tires into the muddy abyss. I managed to jump over my handlebars and had to wrestle my bike out of the mud.

Great ride with a great group...have to do this more often for sure.

Trekking 1:00:00 [2]

With Smitty in Collingwood up an awesome trail by a river to the top of the escarpment right from her chalet. So great to see her and Willow (who constantly laughs and thus makes me laugh). What a beautiful day....boy I could live in Collingwood in a heartbeat...it's so beautiful!

Trail Running 1:10:00 [3]

Great trail run on the HVT. Perfect temps out, not sure why everyone is complaining. They are just going to complain more when it is 35 degrees out.....

Yoga 30:00 [1]

It's amazing how difficult I find this once I haven't done it in a while......

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

The Caledon Navigators MTB Orienteering race...What a blast! I of course could not navigate as fast as I can ride so spent a lot of time stopping to look at the map. It was all caught on video too as I had Phatty's new helmet cam on (gopro). I just watched it and was horrified at how long it takes me to find my place on the map (and I do it about every 5 seconds). It's a great 170 degree angle view though so I am sure we are going to have fun with this one.

Went out after the race to pick up controls with Tiny. We stuck to most of the singletrack so it was nice to ride those trails too. It became tricky wtih the long control sticks hanging out of our bags and Tiny had a couple of nasty reminders that they were there when the stick caught on a tree and then snapped back to whip him in the head....thank goodness for helmets!

Great course and lots of familiar faces - and congrats to Tiny and Milhouse for ripping up the course.
