Road Running 45:00 [3]

Over to Smitty's for a visit. Planned on running back but ended up socializing for too long so she drove me back in the boat....crummy weather day.

Road Riding 1:20:00 [3]

Around the hilly sideroads of Caledon to end up at Bash and Bent's place to see if they wanted to come out and play. Stellar day.

Trail Running 2:07:00 [3]

Picked up Bent who was waiting at the door like a caged animal to get outside. We decided on a run (a combination of inspiration from watching the Blaze runners and the fact that I haven't done it in a while). My legs felt really heavy right off the bat but luckily I had company with much more energy than me to keep me going and entertained. Thanks Bent!

Things even worked out perfectly as Goose stopped by Bash and Bent's and was able to bring my bike back down to his place where we met him at the end of our run...and then he took Bent back up to his house....nice support crew by Goose.

Trail Running 45:00 [2]

Running on the HVT with Bash. We were both a little tired from our weekends but got out in the heat to do a bit of a recovery run with some strength built in.

Strength training 15:00 [2]

Push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups etc. on the bridges on the HVT. Tough not to stop to swat mosquitos.

Road Riding 4:30:00 [3]

On the way back from Orillia to Bolton. I got lucky with the weather considering they were calling for Thunderstorms. I think I rode right down the middle of two systems. I had to stop in Barrie to put on some tights and a long sleeve but the system moved away and I didn't get rained on again until I was just north of Highway 9. It is a really good route with little traffic (except for the pedestrian traffic at the Barrie waterfront who don't respond well to people riding over 30kph on the bike path).

Legs felt great again and I even had lots of push once I reached the hills in Caledon. Average speed was just over 25kph on the MTB including the lights and slow paths in Barrie.
