Trekking 19:00:00 [3]

What a day on the trail!! We watched the sun come up just as we got on to the North La Cloche range. What a difference from 2007! No snow, no ice on the lakes and we could even hike in t-shirts and shorts.

It was still a long day though and by the time we got back to the campsite our feet and knees were killing us. Some yummy dinner followed up with a delicious breaky at the Killarney Bay Inn though set us right.

We have decided that we have earned a more relaxing girls weekend with perhaps some canoeing, some reading, some hammocking, and some wine drinking. Maybe we'll climb Silver Peak on one of the days, and then again maybe we won't!

Mountain Biking 30:00 [3]

Booked it up to Crash's house for a morning ride before leaving for Killarney.

Mountain Biking 45:00 [2]

Fun spin around Palgrave with Crash. The trails that we were on were great and the sun was out in full force...a great start to the day.

Trekking 5:30:00 [3]

The start of our La Cloche Silhouette Trail trek in a counterclockwise direction this time. The night was warm and we were quite chatty throughout the night. Especially after Carolyn pulled out a nip of maple whisky and we heard moose running off in the woods.

Road Running 58:00 [3]

With my swollen ankle I decided to avoid the trail today despite the incredible weather and the fact that I knew I would find the road boring. I overdressed once again and felt really sluggish but I stopped half way for a stretch with slowrunner who had just come off of the trails covered in mud. I guess she tripped, almost recovered, and then slipped into the mud......of course she had a smile on her face while telling the story. Beauty day and the ankle felt okay on the road but still feels a little funny.

Road Running 48:00 [1]

Running group. They are going to be so happy with the Sporting Life 10km course since all we seem to be doing around here is running uphill.

Mountain Biking 1:15:00 [3]

Not sure of the exact time but Goose and I went out for a ride after I finished work. We set out just as the sun was setting and a huge moon was rising.....awesome ride.
