Skate skiing 1:00:00 [3]

Out for a ski with Dee at Scenic Caves. Awesome day and would have liked to ski a little more but Weeanimal was hungry- AGAIN! We even did some legs only technique loops.

Easy spin while watching bones.

Snowshoeing 1:00:00 [1]

With Rita in the brilliant sunshine along the Humber River. I think I was steaming Weeanimal out inside my jacket - hot hot hot.

Road Running 30:00 [3]

Another road run with Weeanimal. Slushy and snowy so it was slippery going at times. I think it will be better when the snow is off the road because I feel like I am twisting my knees when I have to hold on to the handle and I can't push the stroller and catch up.

Note

Nice wintery trek in the Humber Valley with Phatty, Weeanimal, Coach LD and Goose.

Road Running 30:00 [3]

Felt much better running today....like my legs were turning over faster. Still not fast, but faster. Weeanimal cries like a tortured animal when I am putting her in her snowsuit but as soon as she is in it she is fast asleep. Of course she slept the entire run, for the two hours I was at the clinic, and right through her first chiropractic treatment. Of course now that we are home she is fussing about. I guess she is an outdoors lover just like we had hoped.

Well today was day one of training for the Sulphur Springs 50km. It's really quite easy to sign up for these things while you are sitting at home on your computer and thinking...."mmmm what would really get me in shape, I know a 50km run". We'll see how it goes. I have this basic training program but I know I will be switching some of the days for cycling since I really want to do a lot of riding this year and Phatty and I are looking for some long riding races.

Now that it is out in the open I will be accountable for my running...anyone else planning on doing this event this year?

Orienteering 58:00 [4]

First event back and it was a good one! Well a good course but my race was so-so. Took my handicap this time and I was a bit rusty on the nav but a few more races and I should be feeling better.

Great day - nice and sunny! Weeanimal came out for a bit to say hi and got a very nice present from Hammer, Etoile and AdventureGirl - lovely Lullabys that Weeanimal will enjoy much more than listening to
mommy sing! Thank you Wadd Crew!
