Training Log Archive: Leanimal

Awesome day out with Phatty, Coach LD and Goose. Windy day but nice and sunny. Legs died at the end - hammers tight from yoga yesterday.

Followed this up with Weeanimals first swim, with Coach LD and the Tavman, while Phatty watched. She is a natural, kicking and splashing by the end. Not so much as a wimper and she smiled and giggled the whole ride home.

Mark Laham power.

Out with Weeanimal, Goose and the Tavman for a double stroller run. Great to have company but I had it much easier as Weeanimal is a tad bit lighter than the Tavman. Great to be able to stretch outside while waiting for Weeanimal to wake up from her nap. She is still sleeping though so I had to bring her inside in the Chariot.

A mixture of super soft, sticky mud, ice, and frozen, uneven ground. I felt good but probably because I had to modify my speed due to conditions. I went down hard a couple of times on the mud and looked like I had been out rolling in it by the time I got home.

Could spring really be here? I bet we get another snowstorm just for a last kick in the pants.

That fresh air must have knocked Weeanimal out since she has been sleeping for 3 hours, since the beginning of our walk. This gave me time to sneak in some Redcord.

Hillacious road ride around Caledon. Killer wind heading out. I don't mind the wind as a training partner but I hate how loud it is. I wonder if I can do something to block it but still allow me to hear cars. As it is with the wind I can't hear them at all.

Out with Weeanimal when the temps started to rise a little bit. Nice sunny day!

DogRunner and I hit the Gatineau Parkway in the morning sunshine. What a day. Cold but sunny and we were able to do some amazing crust cruising on Lac Fortune. Those guys are sooooooo lucky to have that park right there. Lots of snow left for some great skiing in the next couple of weeks.
