Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Out in the heat to test out the revised fork on my old bike. The fork feels great but why is this the second time that I have gotten my bike back and the screws on my stem are not tightened. Luckily I discovered it on the bike path and not when I was on the trails. It makes me so mad since this is a really dangerous situation. Did I miss the memo that you are supposed to completely check your bike over when you get it back from the store. I know most of you probably do and I will from now on ( I don't learn very quickly) but shit that is scary.

Long climb up the Semnoz and I was smiling the whole time because it wasnt a problem on my old bike. So light. It's a bit different with v-brakes and smaller wheels but I will take it for the weight savings. Harps is probably smiling right now too.

Road Riding 2:10:00 [3]

Awesome morning ride after dropping Weeanimal at the crèche for the last day. Nice and clear so I could see the mountains for miles and miles. Only a small patch of snow left on La Tournette. Glad I got out in the morning because the tourist dodging on the way back was getting dangerous.

Trail Running 1:15:00 [3]

Pouring rain today which is nice since it is breaking the heat. Felt great to get back on the trails. Legs felt good.

Road Running 1:00:00 [4]

I hate road running. Now that I have is that I am just going to be thankful that I can run at all. I had to incorporate this into some errands so I was pushing Weeanimal in the chariot in the hot sun dodging the scores of people on their way to the beach. Again, just thankful that I can run, and in such a beautiful spot. Of course Weeanimal fell asleep on the hill to our house so she is now resting comfortably in the chariot in the middle of the living room. Time to clean up before picking our next guests up at the train station today.
