Training Log Archive: Leanimal

What a glorious day. The storms of late must have cleared the air and the views down the lake are spectacular. I rode around the Veyrier and to Phatty's work so we could run some errands together with the car then I returned home. The parmelan looked like a fake painting on the back side of the Veyrier.

Errand running and Mari shuttling. I don't know why she all of a sudden decides to strike up a conversation with me just as I start climbing the hill. It's all I can do to keep breathing.

Before getting Weeanimal from school and after sitting in an office all morning waiting to apply for my "titre de sejour" which I have to do annually. The kicker was that they wanted a recent attestation that Pete and I are still married. What? This would mean applying for another original marriage certificate just so the date that it was printed would be more recent. I tried to explain to her that that was weird in Canada and that I would have to pay for it and it could take a while so she kindly just put it through anyway. I am sure if I showed her our bank account and that I am still just spending the money that Pete is earning that that would be satisfactory enough.

Around the lake. Beautiful day. Things cooled down a bit after the rain yesterday and it's perfect.
