Road Riding 3:30:00 [3]

Oh boy, this was demoralizing. My bike parts arrived in the mail but the shop can't have it ready until Wednesday so I was on Phatty's bike once again. Up the Semnoz I went and it was tough. Thankfully I will have easier gearing on my bike but still this was an eye opener. I actually felt better by the time I got to the top. I'm certainly not one to make up time on the descent though. Such a scaredy cat and phatty probably needs new brake pads now. I came down the back side to col des Leschaux and then up again to S.Eustache before coming back down to the bike path and people dodging the rest of the way home. Beauty day though with stellar views of Mont Blanc. Lots of people out today.

Yoga 1:00:00 [1]

Another strength class and dare I say that I think I might be able to hold the poses for just a little bit longer.

Trail Running 45:00 [3]

Went out when Phatty got home from work and pre knitting session.

Yoga 45:00 [1]

Tired from many sleepless nights as of late between a semi-sick Weeanimal and a very hungry growing baby but I snuck this in while the big guy napped. I have to laugh at how limited I am in some of the hip opening poses. And then they want me to bend forward. Yeah right. Feels good in a really painful kind of way :)

Road Riding 1:30:00 [3]

Well still no bike parts for me yet so I lowered the seat on Phatty's steed (without marking it - oops) and took his bike for the tour de lac in the early am. Even though it is much too big for me and the seat is terribly uncomfortable it was nice to ride his new bike. Mine is not quite of the same quality and it's VERY noticeable. I didn't feel like it was going to fall apart on me when I was descending like I do with mine. Oh wait mine did fall apart on KD when she was here but luckily the crank arm came off on a flat bit and not a descent. Shifting was like a dream too. I hope the new changes to my bike make a big difference or Phatty will find his bike with a women's saddle soon.

Oh and I have A LOT of work to do before the Etape if I want to finish that thing at all. The slight incline on the old rail trail felt like a climb to me today. Yikes.

Yoga 30:00 [1]

Once again nothing like feeling like your hips are going to snap when you are in some of the poses. I almost laugh when they describe the next phase to get "deeper" into the pose. Not happening, just not happening.
