Orienteering race 1:54:24 [4]***** 15.1 km (7:35 / km)
32c shoes: VJ Twister
Jukola 7th leg. 08:45 A.M. mass start. I slept just about 1.5h that night but felt not sleepy or tired. I heard that course will be challenging and I should be ready for surpises all the time. So I took it easy in begining of course but I did few mistakes on second (~40-50") and 4th (~2') controls. After that my orienteering was quite good till 14th (~2') and later I took safer rootechoises for escaping big mistakes. From 11th to 18th control I run with Skyrma together but later our ways were splitted :( Tottaly I took quite good 125th spot on Jukola's last leg with 6.5mins mistakes. And our team took 416th spot not so good as we could:((

Jukola Camp - Model Course with some more controls - Jukola Camp. Warmup 12' - o-course 68' - cooldown 7'. Quite tough training for first time on soft and stony ground. Noskunai. LTU relay. Warmup 19'30" - o-corse 7.8k/17ctrls 52'07". I did three huge mistakes on this corse total ~6mins. Shit. Shit. Shit. It was most important race of the season and I fucked it up... 4th place ~3:30 behind the winner team Perkunas.

Saturday Jun 9

Running+Orienteering (LTU Long) 2:08:41 [5]***** 19.6 km (6:34 / km)

Noskunai. LTU long. Warmup 7'30" - o-course 15.6k/27ctrl 1h47'41" - cooldown 13'30". I did ~6mins of mistakes and it was little bit too much. But it was quit hot and nobody could run at max speed all the race. So my speed was quite OK. 10th place with <10' loose for winner. My route http://trails.storas.lt/runs/450

I was feeling really good phisicaly but my orienteering was too slow for this pace... so I did ~10' mistakes and was 22th. Not as good as I expected. It should be a good lesson.
