SLOW - Surrey Hills (Gomshall) - MTBO Score (2hrs)

Nice day riding in the Surrey Hills. Started north on the Ranmore ridge then over to Newlands and St Marthas. But got a puncture on 90mins at Blackheath and spare tube didn't fit. Botched fix was only good enough to cruise back on the roads. Was going well up to the puncture although was tiring after the hour.

Run on Jegor's 1:5k map which took a bit of adjusting to. Due to undergrowth, the best route was usually sticking to the many paths and mistakes came when I didn't really decide between using them or not.

Longer lunchtime run. Fairly easy but included a first assault on some of the local strava segments (winter course hill - 2nd). Breathing still not great. Knee ok.

MAC Track. Having some breathing problems this week so lungs working hard but legs felt ok. Reps around 2:15-20. Again, knee felt it a little towards the end. 6th week in a row and starting to feel a bit quicker.
