Sunday Oct 25 #

orienteering 54:50 [3] 5.0 km (10:58 / km)

Fish creek. Lovely crisp day. Too cold for a compass. Quite a lot of snow. Very fun.

x-c skiing (cllassic) 50:00 [3] 6.0 km (8:20 / km)

Loops (8) around the school field. Made some tracks and then found someone else's so joined them up for a 750m loop. A couple of v. short steeper sections to get a few uphill strides in (and cruise down in the other direction).

x-c skiing 10:00 [1] 1.2 km (8:20 / km)

Ski/walk to and from field. Only issue was one of the bindings stuck and almost had to hop the rest of the way home.

Saturday Oct 24 #

x-c skiing (skate) 1:15:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:46 / km)

Frozen Thunder. Guessed time and distance as didn't exactly keep count of the laps and kept stopping for pauses. Busy and had to pause to let faster skiers by sometimes. Snow was fast but not icy.

snow clearing 10:00 [1]

Jonathan did most of it

Friday Oct 23 #

Walk/run 1:00:00 [1] 5.5 km (10:55 / km)

Walk around Bowness loop

snow clearing 20:00 [1]

Thursday Oct 22 #

x-c skiing (classic) 1:30:00 [3]

Early snow session, Canmore Park. Hard work, but a lot of fun. Good feeling.

Wednesday Oct 21 #

running - off road 1:10:00 [3] 7.7 km (9:05 / km)

Nose Hill in the snow. Brutal N wind. Ran into it in drifted snow at the top, hard work, didn't last for long, turned as soon as I hit the next intersection, much better after that.
