shoes: Nike air structure triax 10
a really nice sesh done by mace. long hill effort up, then shortt recovery down the other side, while looking at map, and simplifying/memorising. then short effort back up and drawing what you remember. found it really helpful, and i used the jwoc long map. 4 times, not feeling totally awesome.

a kind of combo run that comprised of running to lukes house, then up mount ainslie, then down and back home. there were about 20 minutes of stops between bits.

Sunday May 18

orienteering race 31:00 [5]** 5 km (6:12 / km)
not enough sleep, the lingering cold are my excuses. just not wanting it this morning. more focused on my performance with the brass ensemble at the art gallery later (how posh). stupid bastards complained, saying, and i quote, "i dont like this noise". far out they can look at paintings made in the 1700s but cant hear music written at the same time, by people that met the painters themselves! we werent even playing loud.

blue lightning training in the pine forest. really enjoyed it, but i was feeling slow. it was so hard to read the map.

riding around before and after blue lightning training on the tracks.
