I gone done a rogaine! first one since i was in high school I think.
felt weird, had to be reminded by lizzie repeatedly that "orienteering mistakes" didn't mean anything in the scheme of things.
we were also a bit surprised that they didn't use the orienteering map of Mt ainslie/majura.
after spending about 7minutes looking for the first one which wasn't there, we got going and all of a sudden we were on our own, not many people mustve done the course clockwise! pulled lizzie through while she started to slouch, but soon enough I was falling asleep on my feet and struggling to keep up with whatever lizzie was ranting about ;) but in general it was just an awesome terrain run.

also had a dream last night in which someone told me that Nike Flyknits were banned in sprint distance because they used illegal shoe technology.

Bonus day! lizzie had to make up for missing last thursday so I said I'd come out. managed to convince her to do a more chilled training of relocation exercise (drop off other person, swap maps, navigate to control, repeat). quite sore so glad to have about 60hrs off before rogaine on Saturday.

twilight at bruce ridge. contour only. totally stuffed it! didn't find #4 haha. but kept going and kinda enjoyed it after that, just practicing downhill running and stuff.

felt quite comfortable, despite rocky ground with thick grass. felt in tune with the map too, but it's not too hard for that I guess.

AIS sprint. hopefully today was the hardest of the 7 days! sore from yesterday, but the ongoing injuries held up well. added some impassable features onto the map to make it more interesting.
