Running long (Saturday Group Long Run) 1:15:00 [4] 14.0 km (5:21 / km)
slept:6.0 shoes: Asics GT-2130

From JC Slaughter Falls with Olly.
Was planning on a 2 hour+ long run but had absolutely no go. By the time we got to Chapel Hill (only like 25 mins into the run), we decided to cut it short. Was super humid and just had nothing going up the hills. Tomorrow is definately a rest day. Never felt so wasted on a long run before, not this short anyway.

Swimming 35:00 [4] 1.0 km (35:00 / km)

Pre-park-O sesh up the QUT pool with Simey.
Think I should be able to do the whole 800m at the NTNT, but it's gonna be slow.

Orienteering race (Park-O) 22:58 [5] ** 5.2 km (4:25 / km)
spiked:13/15c slept:7.0 weight:63kg shoes: Asics GT-2130

City Botanic Gardens (1:5,000)
Long (4.5 km)
Didn't do the long run so that I could run well at this event, but swam at lunch so that defeated the purpose. Had a little trouble at #2 and then struggled after 9. So tired now.

Running warm up/down 6:00 [2] 1.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2130

Note
slept:9.0 (rest day)

Very tired when I woke up today. Slept for longer than usual and been drowsy all day. Might be a sign that I'm comming down with something, will see tomorrow. Need to concetrate on study anyway, which is hard when all you want to do is sleep.

Swimming (1200m Freestyle) 35:00 [4] 1.2 km (29:10 / km)

Chasing lines at the Valley Baths.
Was heeeaps better today. Borrowed a pair of goggles from Simey which made things heaps easier and more pleasant (can actually see now). Managed to do 400m in one go twice. Might actually be able to go the whole distance on the day.

Swimming (800m Freestyle) 30:00 [3] 0.8 km (37:30 / km)
slept:8.5

With the Not the Noosa Tri just around the corner, and my would-be team mate going solo leaving me to do the race on my own too, I thought it was time to start chasing lines.
This is the first time I have ever swum more than 50m in a pool in one go since about grade 7 (1999)... so I had no idea what to expect. It was an effort. A big effort. I struggled, but with a few tips from the kiosk dude, I was already breaking my 100m PB by 5 seconds every lap (no way am I posting my best 100m thoguh...). Now I'm stuffed, my legs are sore, my arms are aching and I can barely see through this chlorine cloud.
Still... was good and I'll be back for more
