Swimming race (Not the Noosa ½ Triathlon) 16:40 [4] 0.75 km (22:13 / km)

1st leg of the prestigious 21st Birthday Edition of the Not the Noosa Triathlon.
Was pretty much running our own race with Simon & Olly.
Got smashed by Simon in the swim by so much there was no way I was going to make it up over the ride and run... and it never happened.

Road Riding race (Not the Noosa ½ Triathlon) 40:30 [5] 18.5 km (27.4 kph)

2nd isntallment of the NTNT. Tried drafting, but no way I could keep up with any roadies, including Olly.

Running race (Not the Noosa ½ Triathlon) 18:30 [5] 4.6 km (4:01 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2130

Final leg in the NTNT.
Worked out our accumulated times between me, Olly & Simon before the run so we could start the run as a chasing start. Simon was 1st at that point with 3:15 ahead and Olly 2nd at 0:55 ahead. Gave it my all and couldn't manage to close that gap enough. Ended up in 3rd in the end.
Congrats to Simon in 1st and Olly in 2nd who both smashed me!!

Orienteering race (Park-O) 23:59 [5] ** 5.2 km (4:37 / km)
19c shoes: Asics GT-2130

UQ St Lucia (1:5,000)
Long (4km)
Good course, spoilt by some dodgy control placement on the ground. In some places, the control plates were well hidden around corners or under drains, but in others, it was simply bad control site selection.
Good end though to a very active 21st birthday.

Street-O race 31:08 [4] * 6.66 km (4:40 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2130

Holland Park (1:10,000)
Long
A very miserable and lonely Street-O. Arrived 25 minutes after mass start thanks to stupidly bad traffic (took 85 minutes to drive from the Valley to the event, around 12km) so was out on the whole course pretty much on my own for the whole thing. Not very enthused to run hard but did what I had to do. Still, a really good course by the course setter. Had a lot of thinking to do. Shame for all those who missed.
