Orienteering race (State Event) 1:16:21 [4] *** 9.0 km (8:29 / km)
spiked:12/16c shoes: Jalas Spider

Bunyaville East (1:10,000)
Red 1 (7.something km)
Got a call from Tezza Cavanagh last night saying a Swedish dude was here on a backpacking holiday and wanted to go up to the Bunyaville event last night. Since the Cyclones training fell through, had no reason not to. He was a fast runner , but had trouble navigating.
Got beaten big time by Optimus Doyle.

Note

Bought me a 3 prong stool from Anaconda today.
Picked it up and looked at the price sticker - $17.98. I'm like, "ok, cool". The price sticker was half stuck on to the tag so I picked it off. And what do I find underneath? The price sticker was covering a label that said, RRP $11.97. Bastards - marking it up $6 above RRP! So I bring it to the counter and she's like, "that's odd" and marks it down from $18 to the RRP. Anaconda & Shonky Co.

Running warm up/down 6:10 [3] 1.25 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Asics GEL-Kayano 14

Warm-up round the track

Time Trial race (3km Time Trial) 10:35 [5] 3.0 km (3:32 / km)
shoes: Asics GEL-Kayano 14

3km Time Trail down at the UQ track, running with Simon and Krystal, Bridget timing and Olly helping.
Didn't know what to expect from this whatsoever but I guess it was a good time. Ran with Simon pretty much the whole way round, though he managed to pull away from me at the end - nice work.
Down the finish was really hurting, was very very close to spewing down the last 100, and at the finish line. Held it together.
Wonder how well I would go if I could pace it properly...
Thanks Bridget for timing, and Simon for setting the pace - was a damn good race.

Running warm up/down 6:45 [2] 1.2 km (5:37 / km)
shoes: Asics GEL-Kayano 14

Cool-down, again round the track.
