Trail Running race (Flinders Tour Trail Race) 1:55:09 [4] 23.65 km (4:52 / km) +211m 4:40 / km
shoes: Asics Gel Trail Sensor

Decided to do this race as part of distance build-up to the 29km race in September.
Had set a goal of 2 hours and smashed it! So happy!
Started chatting to another runner after about 4km and ran with him for the next 14km. He definitely helped push me along big time.
Never run this fast for this sort of distance before. Helps have a course that is fairly flat, although there were a few small + steep hills, plus a lot of mud.

Found Mark, Clare, Katelyn and Pete there. I'm liking these short run mornings, not stuffed for the rest of the day. But it doesn't look good on the trog.

Jog back down, 10 push-ups, repeat
I've done these stair climbs for a few months now, and its the first time I could not do push-ups between every rep. Only managed about 8 before my arms pretty much collapsed... Gym fail.
