Run along the cape to cape track from Redgate Beach. Beautiful run, felt a bit average but had a swim in the ocean afterwards and despite it being cold the water was very warm.

Ben dropped me off down near Coppins and I ran home through Dairy Farmers and the Arboretum, which will be fantastic in 50 years, through the Cork Oaks and Aranda horse paddocks to Aranda Houses Track and home on the roads. Slow but happy enough to be out.

Alarm went early, got up and out the door but was making excuses the whole way to the meeting point. When I got there no-one was there so I waited a few minutes, and decided to just try 8 x 1minutes, I did 40seconds of the first one and just ran home. Not feeling great physically, think I am tired and possibly a bit sick, and also tired mentally, I find BR a struggle.

went straight on 4-5 long leg, which was a stupid decision even though I nailed it. Learnt my lesson for 10 and went around. Also changed mind about which spur I was on on the way to two and I was right the first time. Cool area.

I hate night orienteering but this was a good area for it. I did controls 1, 2 the 6 then 11 and the rest of the course from there. The only way to get through that grass was to gallop like a horse, which is the point at an equestrian park I guess.
