Out at Wattle Ridge, I'm glad it was 4 little courses, it was easy to talk myself into one more loop each time. Very thick and I just plodded around, but no big mistakes just lots of messing in the circle.

Park Run's birthday! Lots of people and it was fun, Ian and Lucy dd some great cheering as they marshaled the course. They even had cake and lollies, I hadnt had any breakfast before I went so a hand full of coke bottles was what I had for breakfast today.

Went out to Bruce Ridge to do some hills in the warm sunshiney weather, Ben came with me for the first 6 minutes! Feeling tired and hard to push. 5 hills.

1.53 up the long one, 1.00down the other side, 0.35up again, 2.45 back to start.

Lap of the lake from work with Phoebe including a mona which she powered through. Tired and really sore shoulder from the half mara on Sunday. Nice to stretch the legs a bit though.

I was hoping for a time between 95 and 100 minutes so decided to stick with the 3.15 marathon pacer guy until they turned off at 16ish k because I thought that would equal a 97.5min half but after about 6k I realised we were going way to fast, so slowed down a bit but by 10k I was pretty stuffed and really struggled along the uphill of Parkes Way (there is not really any uphill but it felt very uphill), then I got a second wind partly due to Briohny's cheers (she was also running the half) and the home straight was ok. Not bad for my first ever half and lack of training. Next time I do one I will try to pace it more evenly. Thanks to Dad, Ben, Robw, Miss Jones and Bree for cheering.

Feeling good when I started so clearly didn't try hard enough yesterday. Easy first few, then drifted low on the long leg to 7 but knew where I was, hesitated to 8 cos it looked like it was on a mound and was so obvious. Was running with Tracy here and she looked confident so that kept me going. Lost time going straight over to 11 but happy with my run. Shame the controls in the tricky stuff were hung so high.
