Felt very unfit and bit unco. Walked the down hills and power walked there a back. Knee was good though I quit while I was ahead.

Went out to Ratall Creek with Ria. Beautiful day - entered the short red but only got to 9, knee was ok for first 10 minutes then started to hurt on downhills and got progressively worse. Ended up being hill intervals really - I was looking for hills to run up and then walked down the other side. Thought knee was a bit better than it turned out to be. Great cake.

walked down to CISAC for a few laps. Pool was clean and not too chloriney but very cold at the start. Way way more fun than I was expecting.

Sanders kindly accompanied me to the AIS pool. The plan was to pool run but 50metres in I realised the movement hurt just as much in the water as out so I started swimming rather than running. I swam 800m and Sanders kept running. Great to do some exercise.

Ben and I went to Sydney for the Turkey Trot. I only ran for 10minutes and it was very annoying. I went back to the car and drove to the finish and then power walked the course backwards until I saw Ben and then went back to the finish. I think I was walking for about an hour.

From/ back to work from split levels for hills. Knee started to hurt after about 1 minute but only on down hill and some angles. Didn't get worse but feels very stiff now soaybe bad idea but was feeling very fat and lazy. Annoying just want the inflamation out.

Note

I went to the ovals in my running gear but Bilbies is not on because the ovals are closed so no lights, should I take that as a sign my knee is not ready to run or try anyway?

Sanders and I ran up Mt Tennant the Mountain running race way. Good gradient and we ran the whole way to the Fire Tower. Views could have been awesome but I couldn't tell because the top was covered with cloud. Back the same way - my knee hurt a lot coming down : ( Really fun and a milkshake at a bite to eat on the way home.

4 x 3 minutes, 90 second recovery; 6 x 2minutes, 1 minute recovery. Gray blew the whistle at time and I spent the whole time trying to stick with or chase after Kate. She did 4 more 2 minutes than me. Felt good again tonight.
