GPS distance noted, 11.8k actual straight line distance. Started the race in 45 degrees and windy, and half way through there was high winds, driving rain, and 34 degrees (all within 45 min.). Fun concept, very open running much like a sprint, just very long! It's too bad the weather wasn't better so more people could have participated. Good sprint park.

Made a decent fatigue error going to #23, because of rain, poor visibility of my map, and fatigue, and ran right past it, and caught myself after 300m.

Field checking with Heidi...my birthday present to myself...take a day off work and field check with my wife...the Market dropped another 100 points. I guess it was a good day to be in the woods! I will probably have dead legs for tomorrow's race at Joyce Park.

Recovering pretty well, still congested, and lacking energy, but I felt ok with an easy run, and it was warm enough to run in shorts and get in 800m barefoot.

Still sick, no activity today, hopefully I will be able to get in a 20-30 min. easy run tomorrow. I have had more colds this year than typical...probably from over-reaching, with work and schedule stress mixed into life...
