Rain...again...I still have a good case of DOMS from soccer...I figure easy running will help the healing process happen a little quicker, but an hour felt a little better than a death march...

I intended to run, but work got in the way and then after work obligations. I crammed in an over due weight/core workout. Not surprising I was really sore from soccer yesterday on top of an hour run. I was surprised by how sore my upper body was, I guess from contact with players and twisting and turning...because I didn't fall. But I did crack my ribs twice last year playing soccer so I always have that in the back of my mind. My body doesn't hold up as well to impact as it used to...even kids half my weight:)...and especially hard hitting high school players...

U-14 training. The coaches played. half the time possession 7 v 7, finishing with going to goal. Petr trained with us, so I had Parker and Petr on my team...we won. It was fun. I wore my gps to get a feel for the distance covered. It was in a very small area...maybe 50 x 50 m., typical for a small-sided game.

Warm and windy. I ran with Heidi during lunch. I was still pretty sore in my calves from descending in Tennessee. The constant breaking caused a pretty good case of DOMS. The best way to recover I have found is to run, plus due to travel and a busy schedule I was unable to run the last two days.
