Tough run. All steep uphill or downhill and very hot pavement, my feet were tired and so was I. I felt hot and I chose to walk a number of times.

Dan ran with me and I had to really slow down on the gravel road. He was probably pretty frustrated with me, but he was a good sport! Cut gravel was really painful whereas the trail and road were great. Mix of road and trail.

Nice easy trail run at dusk waiting for Morgan's soccer practice to end. Met up with a young trail runner, who asked some questions, asked where I lived and said there was rumor of a barefoot runner at the local running store in my vicinity.
