86th Boxing Day 10 Miler. First major road race in a while. Last ran this race in 2003. Time was 1:21 then. Ran in CWX tights with rigid left ankle support. The tights worked well as both knees felt go and the was no lower leg ache after the race as has occurred of late. Ankle support felt a bit rough on lower leg and may have been too tight. However the left ankle was fine. In the past the ankle has got weak about the 7 mile mark and running has been difficult after.
