Note

Was tossing up between a run and a ride this arvo when Isabelle said she wanted to do something. When she decided on practicing netball, it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Ended up with both girls playing netball with me for the first time in nearly two years (they had their first match for the season yesterday). They were even happy to listen when I tried to iron out a couple of (fairly major) technique flaws).
Much better than training:)

Run north on the 4wd track from Horrocks to Little Bay campsite, and return mostly on soft sand along the beach. Lovely day for it and left it just late enough to be able to get through without getting my shies wet.

Have been feeling a bit coldy and not like running in the morning, but felt a bit better in the arvo, so sat in front of the telly and did a steady hour of "better than nothing"

Could it be that the running bug has finally bitten again?
Made it out of bed at 6am despite an ordinary sleep to have a little jog along the river.
A bit on the dark side, but better get used to it.
Heart rate seems way lower than it has been in ages - does it take a while for the Garmin to wake up too?

Firs time I've felt chilly when starting to run in a loooong time.

Good ole 'recovery run' from my marathon training days in 2015. Felt pretty comfortable compared to last time I tried to do this.
Right knee was a bit grumpy. Will need to keep an eye on how it handles the combination of increased running and starting to ride again.
