Watch was flat, so distance is an approximation. Went out through the entrance to Strath, up place road to the end, down to the river to what is my 4km turn around if I run along the river the whole way, then back home along the river (so I know how long that bit was.)

Calves / achilles OK once I warmed up. Quads got a bit sore in the last 10 minutes. Glad I wasn't running an ultramarathon this weekend (although it has been quite cool and trying to rain all day up here).

Quads were unhappy at the start, unhappy in the middle, unhappy at the end and extremely unhappy afterwards. Can't think why.

Blergh.
Another windtrainer session in a hot shed, in roughly 10 minute chunks.
Felt harder than it should have.

Must try to dig out what gears I used to ride in a few intervals sessions, to measure my comparative rubishness if nothing else.

HR trace is utter garbage.
