Sunday Feb 17 #

Had planned to run today, but after being quite settled, with only a few short flutters on Friday and Saturday, last night and this morning my heart was playing games again, sometimes for minutes at a time. Didn’t inspire me. Don’t know whether feelings of lethargy were directly heart related or not.
Also, after not running for a week, or stretching simce Tuesday, my hammies and lower back were pretty seized up.

Feeling a bit better again this evening but probably headed back to the doctor tomorrow.

Thursday Feb 14 #

Heart all over the place this morning. Decided work was not what I needed today. Exercise is in the same boat.

Tuesday Feb 12 #

No run this morning. Poor sleep the last 2 nights due to my heart playing games. Ectoptic beats/ palpitations /whatever you want to call them for hours...
Doctor doesn’t seem overly concerned. Need to cut back on coffee in the short term and get a load of blood tests tomorrow.
ECG was unsurprisingly uneventful, equally unsurprising were the comments on my resting HR.
If nothing is sorted in a week, I’ll get to wear a halter monitor. Oh joy.
Skipped this morning’s run but have all clear to ‘keep doing what I normally do’ so will try to get back into training tomorrow or Thursday.
