Day 3: Variable weather forecast again. Started with Blast Off which was a new run for me. There was a sun crust that appeared part of the way down but still skable so kept going for 500 vertical meters. The upper portion has some tighter trees and likely needs at least 2m HS. Once in the main path there is more space. Could have skied at least another 100m. Climbing back up requires you to stick to the edges of the path (and then cross it) so requires reasonable stability. The climb back up seemed to take a long time. Our pace this trip was fairly casual so even while breaking trail the rest of the group was a ways behind (other than Eiri). That allowed some time to dig pits and break trail at an easy pace. Next run was a steep one down Million Dollar Holler (stability was good and skied directly from the high point) and then back to Main Course. The evening ended up being pretty nice so Stuart and I skied a nice line from the ridge down Hors D'Oeuvres. Non stop down 250m in great snow and light - great run.
