Day 7: The big storm had moved in though the forecast was for the worst of the wind and warming to be in the evening so ski conditions held up through the course of the day. We skied Million Dollar Holler and a couple lines on Respiratory Distress. Fun skiing and only a little bit of double pen. Stuart and I finished with an extra run on Dessert though it was starting to get a bit too deep on the middle section. Tough trail breaking the last two days which made my hip hurt a bit more. Luckily it doesn't hurt while doing stuff just afterwards...

Fun trip with great skiing. It was really nice to have a small group. Pace was casual which was fine. Stuart and I did not ski extra as much as last time - this was likely due to Eiri and my dad staying out often for 3/4 days vs everyone only skiing 1/2 days last time. This was our second trip to this lodge and it is one of the better lodges in the northern Selkirks for tree skiing which worked out well this week given the visibility. Would not have wanted to be at one of the more alpine lodges. I think January is a good time to come as you can still ski the solar aspects. Will certainly keep this lodge on the regular rotation.
