Paddle (SUP) 1:05:00 [2] 10.0 km (9.2 kph)

Dropped off the truck by the airport, rode back to give the dog some exercise, then paddled downstream back to the truck (with some flatwater in the last canal).

Bike 2:00:00 [2] 20.0 km (10.0 kph) +750m

Exploring the new trail on Boulder with Courtney, Atsuko and Vikki. Only took an hour to climb the road. First time I have felt good exercising since the bike trip. I guess I did ride enough to make the recovery time similar to like after a stage race. Fun riding on the upper part of Iron Lotus then the new jump trail. I am not good enough to take the jumps but fun rollercoaster ride none the less. Some good challenging bits on Iron Lotus. Took a bit of a detour at the bottom when the girls decided they wanted to ride some more (in the wrong direction). Finished with Loggin Leftovers.

Hike 2:00:00 [2] 9.0 km (13:20 / km) +850m 9:03 / km

Eagle Pass mountain with Courtney and her parents. Very productive in terms of some brushing and clearing - took the chainsaw with me again. Nice weather, trail is a bit wet but no snow. Flowers are not quite ready to come out. North sides of surrounding ridges still have alot of snow.

Hike 2:00:00 [2] 11.0 km (10:55 / km) +575m 8:39 / km
shoes: Raptor Red 1

Crowbar to the ski hill and down the trail. Very muggy today and got quite sweaty. Carrying the chain saw probably had something to do with that. It came in handy to cut a couple big trees down on the trail. Logan almost got himself in trouble when he went chasing after a small bear cub. Luckily he came back quickly without running into mama bear (and without bringing her back to us). I ran from the resort base back to the car (3km).

Hike 1:00:00 [1] 5.0 km (12:00 / km) +350m 8:53 / km

Lindmark trail with Courtney and her parents (just to the cut off).

Run 1:15:00 [3] 11.0 km (6:49 / km) +35m 6:43 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Hemlock Groove, Bluff, Stimulus, Quarry loop. Mainly wanted to check out a possible enduro course. Slow pace - felt poor again. Took a long break at the nordic lodge to use the bathroom and then just hang out waiting for Courtney. They took a longer route than planned which meant I needed to wait somewhere and the mosquitoes were terrible at the car. Not as bad at the lodge.

Paddle (SUP) 35:00 [3] 3.5 km (6.0 kph)

Morning paddle from the boat launch. A bit less current than yesterday. Triceps were a little sore and didn't feel as nimble on the boat.

Bike 1:20:00 [4] 44.0 km (33.0 kph) +450m

RMR circuit road race but only four of us. First descent Rich opened up a gap with the other guy which meant for the first lap and a half we were doing a duo pursuit thing. I told Stuart I really didn't feel like I had much in the legs as I was hurting. We were 5-15 seconds behind until they slowed a bit. Next few laps were better but always felt like I was pushing my limits. No chance on the final climb but I felt like I climbed ok. Good workout.
