Bike 4:15:00 [3] 37.5 km (8.8 kph) +1400m

Keystone and Standard Basin with Brendan. And not the Rich version but beyond the cabin and to the ridge off Standard Peak. Trail comes and goes towards the end but manage to follow it almost to the ridge where we found the remains of an old cabin. The extra bit seemed both hard and easier than I remembered (strangely). Definitely a bit of a Chilcotin feel on the Standard Basin part. Felt pretty tired on the last few climbs riding out - definitely no 4 hour steady rides recently at Brendan pace so was hurting...

Quiet on the way in but lots of traffic on the way out - mainly Albertans. Wildflowers were great. Drive along Hwy 23N was slow due to construction.

Run 1:45:00 [3] 14.0 km (7:30 / km) +750m 5:55 / km
shoes: Raptor Red 1

Enderby Cliffs with Courtney on the way to meet some residency friends at Gardom Lake. Felt pretty good running today though my knee seems stiff afterwards. Ran pretty much the whole trail with stops every 10-15 min so Courtney could catch up. Nice grade that though steady is runnable. Fun downhill too... good to have a harder effort after the casual weekend.

Paddle (SUP) 40:00 [2] 4.0 km (6.0 kph)

Gardom Lake get together with Rich, Colleen and David. A few easy laps with Courtney and David and then a few km on Courtney's board. It seems to be about a minute/km faster (12%) than my board.

Hike 3:00:00 [1] 16.0 km (11:15 / km) +550m 9:36 / km
shoes: Raptor Red 1

Miller and Eva Lake with my parents, Courtney, Liz and Atsuko. Again a pretty casual pace but nice evening (we finished at 7) with good light. This trail seems to take forever at walking pace...

Bike 1:00:00 [2] 10.0 km (10.0 kph) +300m

Lent my dad a bike and took him on his yearly mtb ride. Liz and Courtney came along too. He did great - a bit cautious on the descents but to be expected for an infrequent rider. Pretty casual ride - Dusty Beaver, Flowdown and Buff Enuff.

Paddle 40:00 [2] 6.0 km (9.0 kph)

Evening paddle at Lake Revelstoke. As my dad was using my SUP I took by surf ski out. I was hoping it was going to calm down after the usual late day storms but still a fair bit of wind. Great conditions to take the ski out for the first time this year;) Managed to keep it upright though. By the time we left it was much calmer - should have waited an hour though it was getting dark.

Hike 3:30:00 [2] 14.0 km (15:00 / km) +800m 11:40 / km

MacRae peak loop. After the rough trail yesterday this trail felt like a highway:) The new parking lot makes the trip 1km longer in both directions. Seems like flowers are a bit later than usual and more snow below the glacier than I expected. Some threatening skies but only a few sprinkles - most of the worst cells were north of us. Always an enjoyable hike...
