Bike 2:25:00 [3] 19.0 km (7.9 kph) +820m

Solo Hartland exploration on some of the outer trails. No trail markers out there and with a wonky trailforks app took a few wrong turns. Was hoping I was where I thought I was as it got closer to 5:30 but popped out onto South Ridge around that time - phew. Rough loop was regional trail to North Ridge to Bubble Wrap. This trail was great - old school tech but still felt flowy and nice open rock sections and lots of Arbutus trees. Damp rock and roots but only a few times did that cause problems. Then back up the RT and South Ridge to Cache (good techy climb) via Trillium and onto Legend. Really felt like I was in the middle of nowhere on this trail. Pretty relentless technical singletrack - fun but some hike-a-bike. More trails than what was on the map which led to some confusion but after a couple wrong turns figured things out and popped out on South Ridge and Fun trail. Took the fastest way back to the parking lot at that point. I have to say that my last few rides at Hartland have really given me an appreciation that there is more good riding here than I thought.

Hike 40:00 [1] 4.0 km (10:00 / km) +300m 7:16 / km
shoes: Raptor Red 1

Up and down Mt Doug with my sister in her usual dog walk. A couple good steep climbs.
4 PM

Paddle 45:00 [2] 5.0 km (6.7 kph)

SUP on Elk Lake starting near the rowing club and heading towards Beaver Lake. My dad came along but he wa a fair bit slower so some back and forth to check up on him. Was on Courtney's boat and it is certainly faster. Saw an eagle repeatedly dive bombing for something. A bit drizzly but that made the atmosphere nicer.

Bike 1:20:00 [3] 14.0 km (10.5 kph) +640m

Driving to Victoria for the weekend - found some decent weather in Merritt:) Seems like it has been drizzly every day in Revelstoke... climbed TMI to the top of Ridge (including pushing up all the way to the top to see if there was a back way up - there was not). Down Ridge clearing all the rock slabs - good fun. A little tricky as it looked dry but brake or corner too hard and it seemed like I was getting into the wetter soil underneath. Back up TMI to Ursus Major then across to Santana. Felt tired on the first climb but I was going at a good pace and it is a decent climb up.

Run 42:00 [2] 5.5 km (7:38 / km) +320m 5:55 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Cartier Lookout with Courtney. Lots of leaves on the trail - ended up being a very nice afternoon. Felt slow but I guess it is a good climb.

Run 1:08:00 [2] 8.5 km (8:00 / km) +390m 6:30 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Flowdown moto trail with Logan. Felt pretty tired today - not enough to eat and a poor sleep last night. Very nice forest to run in though - so much moss, a nice creek and mature forest. As I thought the lower loop was in fact a loop. Someone had actually been out with a chainsaw and cleared some trees too - trail can't have that much use though.

Run 35:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:50 / km)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Around the greenbelt trails with Logan. Overdressed but felt better once I took my jacket off. Need to do some ankle ROM work as it is still stiff from the sprain a few weeks ago. Walked the last 500m home as ran into a few friends out for a walk.

Stretching/yoga 25:00 [2]

Two rounds of a quick core strengthening yoga video.
