Bike 1:45:00 [2] 13.0 km (7.4 kph) +550m

Pemberton weekend with Courtney, Atsuko, Anthony and Mark (orthopod friend of Anthony's). Shortish ride today at the One Mile trails. A few bike issues and energy issues meant lots of stops and slow going. Trails are very dry but still fun. Enjoyed Pioneer and Lumpy's Epic again. Climbs seemed very punchy today.

Run 55:00 intensity: (30:00 @2) + (25:00 @4)
shoes: Brooks Ghost

Pre work on the green belt. Legs felt a bit leaden but woke up somewhat for the intervals. 5 x 1 km with 500m rest in between. For most I could hold 4:00 but with difficulty.

Bike 1:15:00 [3] 12.0 km (9.6 kph) +350m

Nice social ride with Nadia, Atsuko and Courtney. Up Flowdown and back on Berm Donor/Tantrum. Still dry and dusty (no real rain since June).

Run 1:56:00 [2] 16.5 km (7:02 / km) +425m 6:14 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Long slow run. Got sidetracked so left a little later than I should have and got a little hot towards the end of the run. Didn't feel that fast and petered out towards the end. Looks like the 5km loop was affected by the wind storm too. Did some off trail exploration around inspiration Woods.

Bike 2:00:00 [2] 24.0 km (12.0 kph) +525m

Took a trip up to Silver Star with Sean. Our original plan was to ride Beowulf but given the length of the trail and our energy levels we decided to go for a shorter ride. Checked out the older trails on the knoll side and they were quite nice. Some were a bit old school and generally more technical than Beowulf. We rode the Silver Shack section on the way to the top of the mountain - I can see why some people have said the trail is boring as it really has been buffed out quite a bit. Not a lot of roots or rocks - I'd call it a green trail actually. Will have to get out and ride the whole thing at some point still... we rode down one of the blue machine built park trails to get back to the village.

Bike 50:00 intensity: (10:00 @2) + (20:00 @3) + (20:00 @4) 10.0 km (12.0 kph) +300m

Busy weekend as in Salmon Arm for dinner last night, then back home and a late bedtime finishing up some Steamer stuff, and an early morning today running the Steamer. The race went very well with our biggest turnout. Cant complain about the weather...

Back to Salmon Arm in the afternoon for Seanipalooza. Format was a little confusing to know what the best plan was (it was some sort of team timing). Rode hard three laps then a couple easier ones and one cool down with the dog.
