Bike 1:10:00 [2] 25.0 km (21.4 kph) +110m

A late ride this evening - snuck in before it got too dark. Got to test out my Exposure lights for the last part of the ride. Put the fatter tires on the Salsa and meandered around the flats. Was surprised to find lots of snow in the shade below the hospital so had to back track a bit.

Friday Apr 27 #

Bike 1:06:00 [2] 33.0 km (30.0 kph) +225m

Wow felt like summer out there - riding in the warm weather gear. I think there have been lots of temperature records set across the province in the last couple days. Took the road bike today to make sure everything was OK before packing it up. Noticed a few things weren't put back the same way by the bike shop as the position felt a little off. It feels so much faster than the Salsa.

Bike 1:05:00 [2] 20.5 km (18.9 kph) +400m

A bit of random riding on the Salsa - some road, some trail, some path. Had the skinny tires one the bike (35c) and wasn't too bad on singletrack. Still a foot of snow on the parkway at the ticket booth.

Tuesday Apr 24 #

Run 36:00 [3] 6.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Montrail Rogue Racer

Run 55:00 [3] 7.0 km (7:51 / km) +150m 7:06 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia Black

Toaster trails with Courtney.

Sunday Apr 22 #

Skate ski 1:05:00 [3] 12.5 km (5:12 / km) +300m 4:39 / km

One more skate ski with Courtney and Atsuko. Ryan has been out with the ginzu again but we were a bit late and conditions were towards the soft side of the spectrum. The benefit of this though was that the non-groomed trails were more skiable so headed out all the way to the power lines. Sad to say but might be Logan’s last Nordic ski (he did a couple km). He hasn’t worsened or had any more fainting but definitely SOB with exercise and we don’t want to push him too hard.

Bike 1:15:00 [3] 35.0 km (28.0 kph) +200m

Airport Way with Courtney.
