Swim 1:00:00 [3] 3.3 km (18:11 / km)

Masters swimming. Arms felt like lead today. I wonder if I am a little under the weather.

Hike 45:00 [1] 5.0 km (9:00 / km) +300m 6:55 / km
shoes: Icebug Green

Cartier with Courtney, Sara, Eiri and Stuart (and the pooches).

Thursday Dec 13, 2018 #

Run 40:00 intensity: (30:00 @1) + (10:00 @4)
shoes: Columbia Outdry

Fartlek style on the greenbelt. Should have worn the Icebugs again as it was slippery and hard to maintain fast pace at times.

Wednesday Dec 12, 2018 #

Run 40:00 [2] 5.5 km (7:16 / km)
shoes: Icebug Green

Easy run around the greenbelt trails - new snow so not super fast.

Backcountry skiing (Hi5) 4:00:00 [2] 18.0 km (13:20 / km) +1500m 9:25 / km

Last day of skiing - mainly in the Holy Smokes zone and Muppet Show. It seemed like a fair bit of horizontal travel today - could have been more efficient to maximize skiing. Nice zones though for turns. Holy Smokes especially as I could see the Muppet Show area getting sun affected quickly. Home in the dark - Marty would be proud.

Backcountry skiing (Hi5) 5:00:00 [2] 18.0 km (16:40 / km) +1775m 11:10 / km

Much cloudier day today so headed for some treed zones from the start (though weather improved a bit). We split into two groups and skied the Xmas zone and the Monster zone. Some much better fall line and pitch though could use another meter of snow to cover the deadfall. Not as smooth in the forest as at the gorge...
