Classic ski 1:35:00 [3] 19.75 km (4:49 / km) +485m 4:17 / km

Solo ski. Cloudy day with some drizzle forecast for the afternoon. It was cool overnight but no freeze which actually made conditions better than yesterday as consistent throughout. Hit the trails I hadn't skied yesterday. As expected Mickey's is in the worst shape but again no open bits. Dropped the dog off after 12km and kept skiing for another 30 minutes. Atsuko was the only person there when I arrived - maybe 6-7 vehicles when I left.

Classic ski 1:00:00 [2] 11.5 km (5:13 / km) +275m 4:40 / km

Trails closure ended which is great as there is enough snow at Macpherson to keep skiing for a while. No grooming but if you pick them right time of day conditions are fine. Today it was a bit icy in the shade. Was on the zero skis which worked well other than on the ice. So much snow left - no open spots on any of the trails and 3-4 feet of snow still on the higher trails.

Snow keeps melting which made my route today 90% snow free. Still lots of snow further away from the river.

Skate ski 1:20:17 [2] 13.0 km (6:11 / km) +315m 5:30 / km

Went back to 3 Valley Gap with Courtney. More supportive today which was good for the dog but less forgiving for skiing. An hour or two later might have been better. Not as smooth as last week either. Nice to be skiing though.

After a few really warm days (which are making me think that the front snow pile will not set a record for melting date this year) it was cool and blustery today. Pretty strong headwind riding out towards Martha. Went up Westside road as well. Lots of hills today. Sit bones were feeling the ride length towards the end.
